Traditions

It would be easy for a new or old-time-returning players to unintentionally violate what has become tradition if those accepted conditions are unknown. When a tradition benefits even the newest player then all really do benefit. The tradition of established players assisting the brand new players encourages them to stick around. Directing new players to this Wiki is certainly a traditional way of welcoming new players. The tradition practiced by many of giving gifts of money or stats to a new player quickens the opportunity for them to acquire items. For senior players who have accumulated multiples of items, loaning them out is greatly appreciated, although seems more of an individual thing rather that a tradition. While the tradition of calling loops is briefly discussed in the Etiquette tab, it seems to be a tradition that appears to share the deepest levels.

More simply, calling out encounters of monkeymen for new players rather than wiping them out aids the newest player. Including some newer players in some of the trips of more experienced players offers them a peek at levels they can't reach alone or with other young players. Maybe this should become a tradition.

So in this spirit, what are some of the other traditions that are taken for granted in Avatar? For example, what traditions have developed in being in a group?
